The Bekwai-based side has agreed a six-month loan deal with the Major League Soccer outfit for their playmaker
According to the president of Edubiase, Abdul Salam Yakubu, the MLS outfit’s offer is quite attractive compared to that of Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko.
However, the playmaker has to wait till next year before embarking on his loan stint.
“Attobrah will be joining Columbus Crew in the United States in January,” Yakubu told Footy-Ghana. “We will soon be signing an agreement with them but he will join them on loan for six months from January next year.”
He added: “We have decided to opt out of negotiations with Kotoko over Attobrah. They have shown their unpreparedness to meet our valuation of the player so we have fallen on other immediate offers for him. We will not entertain any further discussions on him.”
Attobrah, who was once the captain of the Ghana league side, will be playing for Edubiase in the first round of the 2013-14 Ghana Premier League which starts on September 15.
