Segolela has finally put pen to paper in a deal that will see him at Pirates until June 2016, ending speculation that he might join Chiefs
Orlando Pirates have finally reached an agreement with midfielder Tlou Segolela after it was announced today (Friday) that the player will be at the club for the next three seasons.
Segolela continued to train with Pirates even after his contract had expired, because he wanted to stay on as a Bucs player.
Tim Sukazi, Segolela’s agent confirmed that the speedy winger has put pen to paper, and he will still be seen in Bucs colours next season.
“It’s a done deal. Tlou signed a three-year deal with Pirates. Like I said before, it was all in Pirates’ hands to decide if they wanted to agree to Tlou’s terms,” Sukazi told Goal.
The news will come as a huge relief to the Pirates fans ahead of their Carling Black Label Cup clash against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
