thumbnail Hello,

The Australia international is be looking for a new club after being shown the door at the Chinese Super League outfit, following their recruitment of additional overseas players

Australian midfielder Matt McKay has been released by Chinese outfit Changchun Yatai after just six months at the club.

McKay joined Changchun in January in what was his second stint with the side after he was loaned to them by Brisbane Roar in 2009.

But after just 11 games with the Chinese Super League side, McKay is now on the lookout for another club to call home.

The 30-year-old linked up with Changchun after almost a year with Korean club Busan IPark and a season with famous Scottish side Rangers.

Before his international football foray, McKay spent six seasons with the Roar, playing 131 matches there and was a member of their 2010/11 premiership side.
