Former Kaizer Chiefs player Sthembiso Ngcobo signed a one year loan with the KZN club and is expected to increase the healthy competition in the front line.
With players such as Bongani Ndulula who finished last season in fine form, the ever working Ayanda Dlamini and other strikers, competition is surely going to be high at the club.
“I’m happy to have joined AmaZulu. Many may not know it, but this is a really big club with a lot of history. I’m looking forward to playing for the team and helping them with their ambition.”
“I haven’t seen the team yet but I’ve been listening to the coach’s comments about me and I believe working with him will be good and then after that things will fall into place,” he told the official AmaZulu website.

Goal can confirm that Usuthu is still in negotiations with a number of players to finalize the squad for the 2013/14 Absa Premiership season. Latest signings include central midfielder Awal Issa and defender Msekeli Mvalo on three year deals.
Other new faces are Thanda Royal Zulu trio Lunga Zondi (right-winger), Christopher Manoka (midfielder) and Sifiso Hlanti (defender) who’ve all been signed on three year tenures.
Attacking midfielder Sbonelo Khuboni has been loaned to NFD side, FC Cape Town. Left-footed midfielders, Dumisani Zwane, Nkanyiso Cele, as well as attacking midfielders Andile Khumalo and Donovan Thompson have all been given their clearances to further careers elsewhere.
Other players on the transfer list and yet to find clubs are midfielders Nyiko Tshabangu, Stanley Kgatla and Thokozani Mshengu, as well as goalkeeper, Mbongeni Mzimela.
