Manqoba Mngqithi has begun improving the club squad by signing former Thanda Royal Zulu player Peter Wadwaba, while Goal hears about an unsettled player in the ranks
Goal can confirm that Wadwaba is the sixth player to be released by Thanda following the likes of Sifiso Hlanti, Lunga Zondi, Chris Manoka, Asanda Mvalo and their goalkeeper Mandla Tsengwa who signed for the University of Pretoria.
Hard working striker Wadwaba signed a three year deal with Arrows after he had been monitored by coach Mngqithi.
“Yes, he has signed a three year deal and he will play an important role at the club next season,” confirmed a source at Arrows to Goal.
When Mngqithi spoke to Goal about his plans for this season, he mentioned that he would be looking at promoting young blood into his first team squad. The coach is beginning to achieve this.
A source close to Thamsanqa Gabuza told Goal that the player is not happy at the club and he cannot wait to leave.
“He wants to join another club, and he is not happy playing at Arrows anymore. For now he still reports to training, but that on its own is becoming a mission as he doesn’t want to be there anymore,” said the source.
