Rumours have been flying around about Indonesian Hamka Hamzah’s arrival at Selangor in recent weeks but the 29-year-old has said that it’s all hear-say.
He told Goal: “It’s all still gossip.”
It was reported earlier that Selangor and Hamka’s Indonesian Super League (IPL) side, Mitra Kukar, were in talks to discuss the transfer.
However, when asked whether or not he would fancy a move to Selangor or the Malaysian Super League, he replied: “That's a secret.”
Seeing that Hamka, whose natural position is a defender, is hinting for a new challenge next season, it would be interesting to see which league he would play in next.
The Indonesian international has been with the Mekes since 2011 and has scored thrice in 25 appearances.
Fifth in the IPL, Mitra Kukar will take on second-placed Persib this weekend where a win would see them climb into fourth.
