The 24-year-old's 19 goals have helped les Verts into fourth spot last season, but looks likely to depart the Ligue 1 outfit with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested.
Aubayemang, though, has insisted the chance to move to England is a "dream", and the forward - who played and scored at St. James' Park for Gabon during the 2012 Olympic Games - admits a transfer to Newcastle is tempting.
"I will choose England before any other destination," Aubayemang told Sky Sports.
"My dream has always been to play in one of the top two leagues in the world.
"Newcastle is a good club and St James's Park is a monumental stadium where there is passionate fans."
