Tottenham target Bernard flattered by Porto interest

The creative midfielder has not decided on a future destination but revealed he has discussed a potential summer move to the Portuguese champions with fellow Brazilian Hulk
Brazil international and Tottenham target Bernard has admitted that he is flattered by Porto's interest, but has stressed that he does not have a preference as to his next destination.

The Atletico Mineiro midfielder is continually being linked with a move to Europe, with clubs such as Spurs, Borussia Dortmund and the Portuguese champions all closely monitoring his situation.

The 20-year-old hinted that a move to the Dragao could prove to be too tempting to turn down, but insisted he does not favour any particular destination.

"I do not really have a preference. The European transfer window is open at the moment and I have also been linked with other good clubs," he told A Bola.

"But Porto are a very good club, with a great structure and are always in the Champions League. I am proud to be linked to a club like that.

"When I heard about Porto's interest, the first name that came to mind was Hulk. I have spoken with him and he's told me all about Porto.

"He's assured me that Porto are a big club who are run very well. He said nothing but wonderful things."

The Brazilian's current contract with Atletico Mineiro runs until 2017.
