Dimitri Payet's agent denies Marseille move

The 26-year-old France international's future has been the subject of much speculation, but his representative says no agreement has been reached with any club
Lille winger Dimitri Payet has received no offers from Marseille or any other clubs, according to his agent.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a transfer to OM this summer, as well as Arsenal, but his representative says there have been no concrete bids.

"Lille have told me about Marseille's offer for Dimitri," he told La Marseillaise.

"They said that Marseille offered €7 million [£5.9m] and that they rejected the bid. Dimitri has not reached an agreement with anyone. Not with Marseille and not with any other club.

"If the clubs reach an agreement, we will have to open talks, but that's still far away. I'm waiting for Lille to tell me that they agreed terms with another club. After that, Dimitri and I will sit down and discuss.

"That's the way it works and we will honour that. And if Lille and OM were to reach an agreement, that doesn't mean Dimitri and OM will agree a deal, too."

Payet, who has a contract with the club until June 2015,  joined Lille from Saint-Etienne in 2011 and has scored 19 goals in 95 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit.

At international level he has represented France five times, making his debut against Romania in October 2010.
