The German centre-back has revealed that the Blaugrana have not yet approached him over a possible transfer, while he is predicting lots of goals in the Champions League finalBorussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels insists he has not been contacted by Barcelona over a possible move this summer.
The former Bayern Munich man has reportedly sparked the interest of the Catalan giants, who are looking to bolster their options in central defence after a number of injury problems this season.
But the Germany international, who said in April that he would be open to a Barca switch, has now revealed that the Liga champions have not yet come forward with a concrete offer.
"There has been no contact, neither with Barcelona nor with any other clubs," the 24-year-old told Kicker.
"Should these rumors become a reality at one point, I will talk about it. And when I say now, that there isn't any truth to them, people should believe me.
"It's not my duty to cool off rumours other people have made up."
Regarding BVB's upcoming Champions League final against Bundesliga rivals Bayern, Hummels feels the teams are in for a heated encounter, although he does not believe spectators will witness a scoring fest on May 25.
"It's going to be extremely intense. I couldn't imagine that there will be a lot of goals at Wembley," he opined.
