Viola chief Andrea Della Valle says the Montenegro international will have the final say over a potential exit from the Stadio Artemio Franchi this summerFiorentina owner Andrea Della Valle has confirmed that the club will discuss the future of Stevan Jovetic when the season ends.
The Montenegrin has been widely linked with a move away from the club, with Arsenal leading the race for his signature, but the 57-year-old says nothing will be decided until after they face Pescara next week.
“At the end of the season, as I promised him, he will be able to have his say about whether he wants to stay or go," he told La Nazione.
“We’ll look to keep all of our best players. But only after the Pescara match will the ‘season’ start for sporting director Daniele Prade and technical director Eduardo Macia.
“Last summer we promised him that the squad would qualify for Europe and we managed to do that. We’ll wait for another week and then he’ll also be able to give us his thoughts.”
Fiorentina can qualify for the Champions League if they beat Pescara and AC Milan slip up against Siena.
