"If there at Manchester United are players who prefer to gain experience at Ajax then in the second division of England, that that could be a very interesting option," he told Voetbal International.
"[Van der Sar] stands there in high regard, so those contacts are easy to explain. As for me and Marc Overmars, the door to Barcelona is always open."
The defeding Eredivisie champions came to a similar agreement with Barcelona over the loaning of young talents, with players such as Isaac Cuenca set to rejoin the club on another one-year deal.
"The approach is really good at this construction," said De Boer. "Barcelona can provide a talented player minutes at a good club, we get a new great player.
"Because of an injury Cuenca didn't play that much at Ajax this season but I think he will return to Barcelona with enthusiastic stories. That's fantastic, looking forward to the future."
