Sunderland target Ba open to Premier League move

The 20-year-old, who has also been watched by Tottenham, Wigan and Newcastle, claims Le Havre will let him go if they receive a "good enough offer" for him this summer
Le Havre midfielder El-Hadj Ba has opened the door to a Premier League move this summer by admitting he would love to play in England.

The talented youngster is rumoured to have attracted the attention of a host of top flight English sides including Sunderland, Tottenham, Wigan and Newcastle.

Martin O'Neill's scouts watched Ba in action for the France Under-20s on Thursday, and the 20-year-old admits he feels flattered by the interest being shown in him.

"It is very good to hear clubs have been scouting me," he told the Daily Mail.

"I would love to play in England. If teams have a good enough offer, then they [Le Havre] will let me go."
