We have a busy period of football ahead with some exciting opportunities in the market place.
Beware the fading powers of top teams
One of the key things you should look for when analysing the strength and form of a team is how they perform against 'testing opposition'. It is a good idea to assess this periodically. All great teams hit a dip at some stage.
The best teams will still be good enough to beat much weaker teams so any erosion of their powers can sometimes go unnoticed by the casual observer.
Manchester United are a good example of this. If you look at their performance against the same grade of teams over the last 12 matches, you will find wins for them very hard to come by in the Premier League.
This weekend's tips
Looking ahead to the weekend, Arsenal have been in magnificent form since March.
They have suffered only one defeat in that time and they look a solid bet at Swansea City at 6/5 (2.20) with bet365.
The Swans have rightly earned plaudits for their style of play but they have only won once at home since March and they are meeting a Gunners side bang in form.
Celta Vigo are a team to focus on in terms of goals. All of their matches apart from one have seen both teams scoring this season. They have a very able attack this campaign in the form of Charles and Nolito but they will struggle to keep clean sheets.
bet365 go 10/11 (1.91) on both them and Elche finding the net which looks a good opportunity.
