Spanish Primera División club Valencia has agreed a three-year sponsorship deal with local insurance firm Divina Pastora Seguros.
Along with becoming the official insurance partner of the Valencia first team, Divina Pastora Seguros will also be afforded branding space on the shirts of the club’s youth teams. Valencia has hailed the commitment shown by the company as it continues to battle against its highly-publicised financial problems. Valencia’s director of communications and external relations, Damia Vidagany, said: “This is great news for the club. This partnership is something with which we are very proud and grateful for during these difficult times we are going through.”
Armando Nieto, president of Divina Pastora Seguros, added: “Partnering with a powerful brand like Valencia CF was a natural and logical bet. Divina Pastora Seguros has to be associated with these great brands and we are very happy to belong to this club as an official sponsor.”
Following an opening day win over Malaga, Valencia has since fallen to defeats against Espanyol and FC Barcelona to sit 12th in the Primera Division table.
