Leeds United - QPR Betting Preview: In-form sides could be tough to separate

Both teams are unbeaten in the Championship so far this season and our tipster is anticipating a closely fought encounter when the Whites meet Harry Redknapp's men
Two of the Championship's in-form sides go head-to-head on Saturday afternoon when Leeds United welcome QPR to Elland Road.

These two teams had contrasting fortunes in the Capital One Cup in midweek as Leeds saw off Doncaster Rovers while QPR crashed out to Swindon Town but points will be the priority for both managers.

Despite that defeat to Swindon, Harry Redknapp's men have adjusted well to life in the second tier following their relegation from the Premier League, picking up 10 points from their opening four fixtures.

Subsequently, QPR are chalked up as Betway's 3/2 (2.50) favourites to keep up their fine league form by winning here.

Leeds, though, are unbeaten in six competitive fixtures this season so Brian McDermott's men will be confident ahead of their clash with the Rs.

The home side can be backed at 17/10 (2.70) with Betway to claim all three points here while draw backers are sure to be tempted by Betway's 23/10 (3.30) quote that the match ends all square.

It is worth noting that both teams have found themselves level at half-time in three of their opening four league fixtures this season and, should that trend continue here, then Betway' 23/20 (2.15) quote for the match to be drawn at half-time would offer value.

Another price which is sure to prove popular is Betway's juicy 9/5 (2.80) quote that the match is level at half-time and that either side wins the second half.

Curiously, though, neither side has conceded a second half goal in the league thus far during the campaign and, should that continue in this game, the 2/1 (3.0) quote for the first half to produce most goals in certainly an interesting prospect for punters.

Both sides will see their title credentials put to the test and, with little to separate the teams, there is value in backing the draw at an appealing 23/10 (3.30) with Betway while those looking to back bigger prices should take a chance on the match ending 1-1 at a tempting 9/2 (5.50) with the same firm.

Half-time draw at 23/20 (2.15) 2pts with Betway
1-1 draw at 9/2 (5.50) 1pt with Betway
