thumbnail Hello,

After having an unsuccessful spell with Mamelodi Sundowns, Musa Nyatama is trying his luck at Bloemfontein Celtic

The midfielder spent the whole of last week in Bloemfontein, where he was assessed by Celtic coach Clinton Larsen.

Despite nothing being confirmed as to whether he will sign for the club as yet, Goal have been informed that the coach is keen on him.

"Apparently, it is the coach who decided to give him a chance to trial here with us. He is a great player and there is a chance that he might be signing with us.

"He was involved in the pre-season matches that we played and he did well. I think it all rests on the coach to make his final decision about him," said a source at the club.

Nyatama had his ups and downs at Downs last season despite once promising to be one of the brightest players in the country a few years ago.

The 25- year-old will have to wait on the management and see if he can get his form back via Bloemfontein Celtic.

Looking at Larsen's philosophy, the player might sign as the coach speaks fondly on building a young squad for next season.

In the mean time, the Orlando Pirates player who might sign with Mpumalanga Black Aces, Clifford Ngobeni is expected to appear in court on Monday.

This follows financial battles which resulted in him not featuring in the Golden Arrows outfit last season.
