Swansea continued their pre-season tour in style with a 5-1 win over Excelsior Maassluis at the Sportpark Lavendelstraat on Sunday.
The Premier League side came into the fixture having beaten Gravenzande 2-0 24 hours earlier, and may have expected a sterner test against the reigning Hoofdklasse champions.
Indeed, Michael Laudrup's men looked to be in for a long afternoon when the home side went ahead after just seven minutes. Excelsior's Sten Wever latched on to a loose back pass from Ben Davies and skilfully slotted past Gerhard Tremmel.
However, the visitors were only behind for 11 minutes before their heavy pressure was rewarded when Roland Lamah fired home from the edge of the area to level the match.
And Swansea went ahead in the 28th minute as Rory Donnelly curled into the net after collecting a brilliant pass from new signing Jonjo Shelvey.
The half-time break saw the leaders change their entire team, with last season's top scorer Michu among those entering the fray.
The early stages saw little more drama than a booking for the Spaniard, but Swansea did not have to wait too long for their third goal, as 21-year-old new signing Alejandro Pozuelo lobbed home.
Despite the home side's efforts to get back into the match, the Premier League outfit asserted the gulf in quality to score two goals in quick succession through Kenji Gorre and Nathan Dyer.
Swansea will now take on NAC Breda on Wednesday as they continue to prepare for their debut UEFA Europa League campaign, which begins on August 1.
