thumbnail Hello,

The Magpies face a tough test against Manchester City as they look to bounce back from last season's poor campaign, while their first clash with Sunderland comes in late October

Newcastle get their Premier League season under way with a difficult trip to Manchester City.

The Magpies only narrowly avoided relegation last term after a poor campaign, and games against West Ham, Fulham and Everton in the opening weeks should give a good indication to how they will fare this time out.

Alan Pardew's men were also humbled 3-0 by Sunderland at the back-end of last season, and their first chance to gain revenge on their local rivals will come on October 26.

Newcastle end their campaign with a visit to Anfield.
