The Everton midfielder has been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent days but Willie Duncan believes that the 25-year-old Belgian may be keen to be reunited with David Moyes
The Gunners have announced their intentions to flex some financial muscle this summer and it is understood that the north London club may have triggered a release clause in Fellaini’s contract by offering £22 million [€26m] to Everton for the midfielder’s services.
No deal has yet been agreed with reports suggesting the Toffees have yet to give Arsenal permission to discuss personal terms with Fellaini.

Arsenal, of course, are warm favourites at 8/11 (1.73) to secure the Belgium international’s services and the signature of one of the Premier League’s most coveted midfielders would certainly be a coup for Arsene Wenger’s side.
However, the Gunners are likely to face stiff competition for Fellaini with a move to Manchester United also being touted for the 25-year-old.
Should Fellaini make the move to Old Trafford, he would link up with his former manager at Goodison Park, David Moyes, while the midfielder may believe that joining the current Premier League champions is more likely to offer realistic prospects of winning honours.
Manchester United boss Moyes knows all about Fellaini’s considerable talent and the Red Devils are an appealing 5/2 (3.50) with Paddy Power to reunite the 50-year-old Scot with the 25-year-old Belgian.
Another interesting option which may be open to Fellaini is a move to Chelsea. The Blues have tasted European glory in successive seasons, winning the Champions League in 2012 before claiming the Europa League last term and the west London club will look to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title next season under Jose Mourinho.
The opportunity to challenge for silverware under the guidance of the former Real Madrid boss may prove appealing to Fellaini, who is rated as a 9/1 (10.0) chance to move to Stamford Bridge.
Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are both rated as 25/1 (26.0) shots to sign Fellaini while punters can also get 25/1 (26.0) on the midfielder leaving the English Premier League altogether and joining Italian champions Juventus, although neither of these clubs appear to be seriously in the hunt to bring in the Belgian.
Despite being favourites to snap up Fellaini, Arsenal may yet face the disappointment of seeing the midfielder being snatched from under their nose. Therefore, the 5/2 (3.50) quote on offer from Paddy Power for Maraoune Fellaini to make Manchester United his next permanent club is the recommended play in this market.
