The Belgian midfielder keeps to his promise of dying his hair extravagantly if fans donated £25,000 to Everton in the Community, the official charity of the Toffees
Versatile Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini, already known for his flamboyant afro, has made his hair even more eye-catching by dying it silver.

The Belgian, who has scored 11 Premier League goals this season, promised fans that he would dye his 'fro silver if they could reach a £25,000 fundraising target, to celebrate 25 years of Everton in the Community, the Toffees' official charity.

The stunt is just one of many fundraising initiatives that the club hope will raise a grand sum of £1 million.

"Thank you to the Everton fans who have helped me raise £25,000 for Everton in the Community, I look forward to showing everybody," Fellaini, 25, told the club's official website shortly before showing off his new style at the club's end-of-season awards ceremony.

"I've never done anything like this before but I am happy to help this brilliant charity. It helps so many people and I want to help them too."

Fellaini will have his silver hair on display for the club's final game of the season, away to Chelsea on Sunday.
