Deportivo La Coruna - Atletico Madrid Betting Preview: Why goals at both ends look likely

Our La Liga expert, Phil Kitromilides, thinks that, in a tough game to call, both teams to score is the best selection on Saturday evening and has a 17/10 value bet
Despite putting together a run which has seen them go six matches unbeaten, Deportivo La Coruna have drawn their last two games and, given the extremely tight situation at the bottom of the table, the Galicians need a win on Saturday night to keep alive their hopes of survival.

Paddy Power price them at 12/5 (3.40) to claim a victory against an Atletico Madrid side whose focus of the season is now the Copa del Rey final.

Diego Simeone's men have all but secured Champions League football and can be backed at 11/10 (2.10) to record their eighth away win of the season.

The obvious bet in this game is both teams to score, which has proved the correct selection in 11 of Depor's last 15 matches.

However, it is offered at 4/6 (1.65) a price which might deter some punters. Nevertheless, it looks to be the best bet in what could be a tough game to call and could be included in a multiple or taken as a fairly safe single bet.

Both sides will be missing key personnel through injury and suspension and it is difficult to predict how that will impact on the game. A goal at each end though looks likely whoever comes in, and should have an excellent chance of paying out.

For a value bet, back Depor's top scorer, Riki, to add to his tally of 13 goals his season, by netting at any time which is offered at 17/10 (2.70).
