thumbnail Hello,

The rivals are set to meet at Wembley in just three weeks' time and Al Hain-Cole thinks a reluctance to to reveal their hand too soon will lead to a low-scoring game on Saturday

When Bayern Munich wrapped up the Bundesliga title with six games to spare in April, their end of season Klassiker showdown against Borussia Dortmund looked like being nothing more than a high-profile dead rubber.

However, both sides' European heroics have given this clash a whole new dimension, as the Westfalenstadion will now play host to a dress rehearsal for the upcoming Champions League final.

Having beaten Real Madrid 4-1 in their previous home game, Jurgen Klopp's men will not be short of confidence going into this encounter, although BetVictor have them down as outsiders at 9/4 (3.25) to emerge victorious.

This is understandable, considering that the visitors have racked up 14 consecutive league wins and are favourites at 5/4 (2.25) to make it 15 on Saturday.

The rivals drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture back in December and you can get odds of 5/2 (3.50) on them sharing the spoils once again.

With the Wembley final just three weeks away, both managers will be keeping their cards close to their chests in this match, making it hard to predict how the two teams will line up.

However, neither side will want to give their opponent the mental edge of a victory so close to the big day, so this fixture is sure to be as fiercely contested as ever.

Apart from Dormund’s incredible 5-2 win in last season's DFB-Pokal final, recent meetings between these opponents have been close affairs, usually decided by a single strike.

Four of the last six have featured under 2.5 goals and odds of 6/5 (2.20) look very inviting on a tense affair going the same way this time.

Having kept 12 clean sheets in their 15 Bundesliga away games this season, Jupp Heynckes's champions will be particularly confident of keeping things tight, especially after Munich-bound Mario Gotze was ruled out through injury.

The Bavarian outfit have only conceded twice in their last nine games, and odds of 23/10 (3.30) represent solid value on them shutting out Die Schwartzgelbe, as they managed in February’s cup clash.
