With key men missing for Andre Villas-Boas' side, and with Robin van Persie firing, Jamie Dickenson is backing Sir Alex Ferguson's team to avenge their home defeat to SpursManchester United have lost just once at home in the Premier League this season, and their conquerors Tottenham Hotspur are set to host the Red Devils in the return fixture this weekend.
League leaders United have the best away form in the league with eight wins from 11, and William Hill make them favourites at White Hart Lane priced at 7/5 (2.40).
Despite losing to Spurs in September last year, Sir Alex Ferguson's side have not lost on 11 trips to White Hart Lane, winning eight.
Therefore punters may be wary of backing the hosts to reverse that trend with a victory in front of their supporters at 15/8 (2.87).
The draw looks a reasonable selection considering neither side has lost in their last seven outings, and is available at a tempting 12/5 (3.40).
However, it does appear risky to stake on one of these three outcomes at those prices, but given United's record at Spurs and their good recent form, taking the visitors in the draw no bet market at 8/11 (1.73) looks a safer option.
Reports that midfield anchor man Sandro is out for the rest of the season will hugely disrupt Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas' plans, while his side are short up front with Togo international Emmanuel Adebyaor away on Africa Cup of Nations duty.
This enhances the chances of United getting something from their trip to the capital even more, and Ferguson will have his pick of forwards as Wayne Rooney made a scoring return to the team during the midweek win against West Ham.
The visitors are lacking at the back however, with both centre-backs Nemanja Vidic and Jonny Evans doubtful. Ashley Young remains out, but United's deep squad should have enough to cover any absentees.
If the Manchester side are to win then chances have it that Robin van Persie will be on target.
With 10 goals in his last 10 games, the Dutchman is in stunning form in front of goal, and United's last seven wins have seen the ex-Arsenal striker score.
Backing Van Persie to score and Man United to win at 3/1 (4.0) is a special enhanced price for William Hill customers, and with the away team looking to avenge their defeat to Spurs at Old Trafford and their star striker used to big battles against Tottenham, this is a great selection for the value bet.
