On today's round up from the world of Twitter, we have the reactions to all the news from the market so far as the transfer window approaches its closing stages

As the transfer clock ticks down we have the latest from the Twitter world as footballers give their reactions to the late deals.

Today also sees Chelsea leave for Monaco to take on Atletico Madrid in Friday's Super Cup, qualifying matches in the Europa League, and the England squad was also announced for their upcoming World Cup 2014 qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine.

But let's start this busy edition in the eye on the transfer storm, who’s going where and announcing it on Twitter? What are the reactions of their team-mates? Well here we go:

"Morning, I can confirm that I'm in talks with two premier league clubs about a loan move, hope to sort it by tomorrow evening.."

Short but sweet from Joey Barton as he tweeted a picture of a harbour to show he was still in Marseille to try and finalise a deal with the French side.

"Good news about moussa at spurs i like his style on pitch !! Strong, technic, quick all we need lol"

Benoit Assou-Ekotto welcomes the signing of Moussa Dembele after his move across London to join Tottenham from Fulham, although the use of 'lol' did make this Tweet sound slightly sarcastic!

"Good luck to my brother @mousadembele on your new challenge in North London, we will miss you. #hardworkingtalent"

Ex-team-mate Phillp Senderos said goodbye and good luck to Dembele after his transfer to Tottenham was completed yesterday.

"Morning people, have a nice day hope the weather will be nice for you, off to france now, can't wait for the game tomorrow #cfc"
