Hamburg's Gokhan Tore is close to sealing his exit from the club after he was left out of the squad for a second friendly game in a row.
The Turkey international was deemed unfit to play against Kiel and carried out an individual training program, but Goal.com can exclusively reveal that HSV were in fact looking to prevent an injury ahead of a potential sale.
Hamburg are actively trying to raise funds, and are hoping to offload Tore, who only arrived last summer from Chelsea. Goal.com revealed on Friday that there are several clubs interested in the player's services.
Indeed, Tore is believed to be just one signature away from completing his transfer, with Rubin Kazan leading the chase after Galatasaray cooled off their interest following the signing of Hamit Altintop.
More developments on Tore's likely exit from Hamburg are expected in the next couple of days as HSV continue their summer clear-out.
