Inter coach Claudio Ranieri: The players will react because they are true champions

The 60-year-old has stated that there is no cause for alarm following the 4-0 defeat to Roma in the last round of Serie A, and is convinced that the team will bounce back

Inter coach Claudio Ranieri has insisted that the club's supporters should not worry about the Nerazzurri's recent bad run of results as he believes that a turn in fortune is just around the corner.

The 60-year-old thinks that the recent 4-0 loss to Roma will only spur on his players to improve. Ranieri also revealed that Wesley Sneijder is fit to play against Novara on Sunday and will definitely be taken into consideration.

"The fans can calm down. Before the game against Roma we had a good thing going, but they managed to get everything right and defeat us," the coach said during a press conference.

"I am serene, because if the team struggles, the lads will react, because they are true champions.

"The return of [Diego] Forlan, [Dejan] Stankovic and [Wesley] Sneijder are a great boost for us.

"Sneijder in particular is in very good shape and will definitely be taken it into consideration."

Inter will face Serie A basement boys Novara on Sunday at San Siro.
