Completely miss-kicked a clearance in the first few minutes but the resulting corner came to nothing. Then completely miss-kicked a second clearance, this time on the edge of his area, and then handballed it, but again got away with no punishment when he really could have been sent off. Did make one fine save to deny Rafael at 0-0.
Was rooted to the spot as his man, Phil Jones, headed United into the lead. The free kick was largely his fault, too, after he dallied when trying to deal with Rafael. Made a good block to deny Marouane Fellaini.
Held his position well and made a few headed clearances but did not do too much else of note before being withdrawn with what looked like an injury.
Shrugged Rooney off the ball and burst forward as he tried to drive his team forwards in the first half. Good defending set-pieces. Lunged in for Danny Welbeck's goal, giving the striker time to pick his spot.
Made a few headed clearances as United focused on set-pieces. Caught napping as Wayne Rooney nipped in for 2-0.
Brought down Rafael for the free kick which led to Manchester United's opener, but he was let down by Ridgewell, in truth. Almost scored an own goal and saw Wayne Rooney land on his knee. Was quiet when in possession, too.
Cleared Fellaini's deflected effort off the line, but could not cope with Rooney and Juan Mata as United scored their second.
Put an effort over the crossbar with his shoulder from close range and then went off injured, after being fouled by Fellaini.
Got the ball in advanced areas in the early exchanges but failed to make the most of it. Carved open the visitors after half-time with a neat one-two, but could not find a finish. Faded late on.
Wasteful with his good early opportunities, particularly from the wide areas.
Worried the visitors with his presence, power and pace, but his influence waned as the match wore on. Is West Brom's most dangerous player at present but is often left down by the service.
Had little to do in the main. Made a couple of routine saves and that as that for the Spaniard.
His firm header was United's best chance but was well saved by Ben Foster. Picked out Wayne Rooney beautifully to make it 2-0. Made a great block from Saido Berahino.
Got forward whenever possible, at the behest of his manager, but did not create too much in truth.
Gave the ball away at the back on a couple of occasions early on but scored the opening goal with a powerful header. Put in an absolute cruncher, fairly, on Anichebe.
Did well to thwart Anichebe following a powerful run from half-way. Let Morgan Amalfitano in at one stage, but looked assured in the main.
Put in a superb ball for Rafael, who was denied by Ben Foster and the crossbar. Sliced a volley horribly after half-time. Not one of his better days. Substituted.
Clumsy would be the best word to sum up his first half, if not his United career so far. A few loose touches early on and a raking challenge which left stud marks on Claudio Yacob's thigh. Had a half-volley blocked after the break. Won some headers and played his part in United's third.
Did what he has done regularly this season; played it simple and did not utilise his expansive passing ability. Not great, not terrible.
Did very little in the first half. Tried to make up for that shortly after the break but his volley from 35 yards out was never troubling Foster. Headed in the second goal after helping create the opportunity with some impressive link-up play. Set up Danny Welbeck for 3-0.
Picked out Januzaj with a clever ball in the early stages, and linked up well with the youngster whenever they were in the same areas. One delightful piece of skill by the touchline. Helped create the second goal. Showed great defensive awareness by denying Chris Brunt a tap-in.
R. van Persie
Struggled for service early on but showed his team-mates how it's done with a pinpoint free-kick for Phil Jones' opener. Booked for a bad foul on Morgan Almafitano and was lucky to stay on after lunging at Steven Reid. Substituted.
