FULL TIME - Stoke 0-2 Chelsea: The Blues will spend Christmas Day three points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League following a win, provided by goals from Terry and Fabregas. That is all we have time for this evening, thanks for joining me!
90' + 7' There is the final whistle!
90' + 7' SO CLOSE! Bojan almost gets a stunning consolation goal for the hosts but his 25-yard shot shades the outside of the post!
90' + 6' Schurrle launches a break down the left, checks inside and then shoots straight at Begovic. Passing to Drogba may have been the better option, there.

90' + 3' That is the end of Hazard's game, though, as he makes way for Kurt Zouma.

89' Hazard has gone down near the corner flag after a coming together with Walters. The Chelsea man has stayed down and looks in pain, and Mourinho will be hoping it's nothing serious.
87' Matic and Mikel are happy to sit behind the ball, showing no desire to push on and aid their team in attack. They just want to see this out, and you can't blame them really.
85' ASSAIDI! The Moroccan moves into space inside the left-hand side of the box and fires a shot towards the far corner which forces Courtois to get down low and parry it aside.

84' GOOD SAVE! Schurrle has Costa in space inside the box so he rolls the ball to him. He tries to bend an effort past Begovic with a first-time finish but the keeper denies him with a strong stop!
82' The free kick delivery is poor, yet again, and Chelsea are able to clear. Stoke have failed to make the most of their multiple set-piece opportunities.

76' Now Arnautovic shows a bit more composure, tricking his way beyond Azpilicueta and darting into the box. However, his touch is a little too heavy and Matic intercepts.
74' Arnautovic has an opportunity to whip the ball across the face of goal in space on the left-hand side of the box, but he blazes it high over the roof of Courtois' net.
73' The crowd are really getting behind their team as the Blues look to sit back and absorb this pressure.
71' JUST WIDE! Matic and Terry fail to clear the ball and Arnautovic uses the opportunity to tee up Adam for a shot from 25 yards. He cuts across the ball with his strike and it sends it swerving beyond the post!
70' Close to an instant impact from Adam, as he flights a great cross towards Walters which is just a little too high for his team-mate to connect with. He was above Terry to challenge for that, so a more accurate ball could have led to Courtois being tested.

67' Arnautovic gets away from Fabregas to create space for a shot, but yet again it takes a touch to send it out for a corner. Bojan's delivery is woeful, and Costa heads it away.
65' Walters clips a cross in from the left but it takes a touch off Azpilicueta and Courtois claims it.

63' Peter Crouch comes off, with Mame Biram Diouf replacing him.

62' Willian takes the free kick but it is deflected wide of the target by Walters, who jumped up from the wall to nod it aside.
61' Muniesa clips Matic 30 yards from goal and Chelsea are awarded a free kick in a dangerous area.
61' Once more Willian cuts inside from the left wing following a Chelsea break, and again his attempt is blocked by a Stoke shirt.
59' While it is still 1-0, Stoke may fancy their chances of grabbing an equaliser at some point. Chelsea need to step up a gear and find their second, or they could be in store for a tense close to the match.
57' Chelsea break through Costa and the ball ends up with Willian on the left corner of the box. He opens up space for a shot which is deflected towards the other side of the area. Pieters only heads it as far away as Matic 20 yards from goal, but the Serbian completely mishits his attempted volley.
55' Hazard squeezes a square pass to Fabregas at the near post but his attempt to flick the ball beyond Begovic is held by the keeper.
E. Pieters
Yellow Card

53' null Erik Pieters: The left-back goes into the book after dishing out a bit of afters to Costa following a challenge.
52' Willian breaks down the right and steps across Muniesa to stop him from bringing him down. He releases a shot from the corner of the box but Begovic holds it, keeping the ball out of the bottom corner.
51' Matic fights well in midfield but he is just unable to stop Crouch from spreading the play to Arnautovic on the left. He begins his run into the box but he is too late to connect with the Austrian's delivery, which bounces behind for a goal kick.
49' Fabregas is claiming for a penalty as he is brought down Shawcross just inside the penalty area. An offside decision saves Stoke, but the ball came back off Walters anyway!
47' A couple of moments of sloppiness at the back for Stoke early on. First, Muniesa's backpass is short but fortunately Begovic gets to it first, although he then passes it straight out of play!
46' We are back underway!
HALF TIME - Stoke 0-1 Chelsea: Terry opened the scoring inside two minutes and the hosts dominated for much of the first half. Costa missed a great chance to add a second, and he would have loved nothing more given the physical battle developing between himself and Shawcross. Still, it is tight at the interval and everything is to play for in the second period.
Welcome back! The second half will be underway shortly.
45' + 4' There is the half-time whistle!
45' + 3' Costa controls Fabregas' long ball brilliantly before turning and bearing down on goal. He has two players tracking him and Shawcross eventually makes an impressive tackle.
45' + 2' Cameron launches a long throw into the box but Crouch makes his run to the near post too late, and is forced to unfairly challenge Courtois. The visitors are awarded a free kick.
45' + 1' We are into the first of three additional minutes.
45' Arnautovic gives the ball away cheaply, 25 yards from his own goal, but Willian dawdles in possession and the Austrian steams in to poke possession away from him.
43' We're closing in on half time, now, and Chelsea look good value for their lead.
41' Costa receives a push in the back from Bardsley but still manages to flick the ball on. He's never going to get on the end of it so appeals for a free kick. Nothing is given.
39' Azpilicueta clips a pass up from the left, looking for Costa. The Spaniard makes a run to try and get on the end of it but Begovic comes off his line to beat him to it.
38' Bojan launches a free kick into the box and Courtois comes off his line to punch it away. N'Zonzi was offside anyway, so a free kick is awarded to the visitors.
36' Cahill eases Walters out from underneath the ball as it bounces up inside the box, and claims for a penalty go up as the Irishman doesn't make contact with it. That would have been incredibly harsh on the Chelsea centre-back, though!
34' Bardsley has stayed down after playing a pass inside under pressure from Hazard. Chelsea continue to play until the Belgian puts the ball out so that he can receive treatment.
33' Chelsea really should be two goals up now! Mourinho will be disappointed with Costa for not finishing that.
31' COSTA SHOULD SCORE! The striker springs the offside trap and is sent through one-on-one with Begovic by a brilliant pass from Fabregas. He attempts to roll the ball inside the far post but he sends it wide of the upright!
30' The hosts are refusing to press high and trouble the visitors while they have possession inside their own half. They don't want gaps to open between their lines that the likes of Hazard, Fabregas and Willian could exploit.
28' Stoke have certainly responded well to that early goal, and have begun putting the visitors under pressure in spells.
26' Hazard bides his time out on the left and opts to pull the ball back to Ivanovic at the top of the box. The Serbian has a strike from 20 yards but he is unable to guide the ball on a route through the defenders ahead of him to test Begovic.
25' It's proving to be a very physical game during set pieces, and you sense that if the referee doesn't get a handle on it soon then we will see a number of cards being brandished.
23' Chelsea look to break following the corner and they have men over, but the referee gets in the way of the pass and stops the counterattack in his tracks. Fabregas isn't happy about that.
22' Bojan carries the ball across the top of the box before slipping a pass between Ivanovic's legs for Walters. The Ireland international takes a touch before releasing a shot but a block sends it out for another corner.
21' GREAT STOP FROM COURTOIS! N'Zonzi picks up the ball just inside the Chelsea half and he drives towards the box. He releases a cross-goal shot which takes a wicked deflection off Terry that sends it towards the near post. Courtois readjusts, getting down to his left to parry the effort behind.

18' Costa wins a corner for Stoke, kicking the ball off Shawcross, but as he makes his way into the box for the delivery there is a small confrontation between him and the centre-back. Fabregas sends the dead ball in from the left but it is cleared by the first man.
17' Stoke get forward and manage to earn a corner, but Bojan's delivery is plucked out of the sky by Courtois. A confident catch from the keeper.
15' Costa goes off, has a drink, and then jogs straight back into the action. Nothing too serious for the striker, then.
14' There are whistles for Costa as the Spain international stays down after being sandwiched between N'Zonzi and Shawcross when attempting to challenge for a header.
13' Stoke earn a throw down near the corner on the right wing, but Hazard intercepts it. Bardsley attempts to make up for his mistake by challenging the Belgian for the ball, but his foot was high and the referee subsequently awards the visitors a free kick.
12' It's all Chelsea still, with Stoke struggling to cause any sort of a problem to the opposition defence.
10' Hazard teases in a fantastic ball from the right following a short free kick, and Costa makes a run between the centre-backs to try and connect with it. The delivery is a little too far ahead of him, though.
9' Costa is released down the right wing, and as he strolls towards the box from out wide he is stood up by Shawcross. With little support he attempts to thread a pass into the feet of Fabregas in the centre of the box, but he fails to find his compatriot and Stoke clear.
7' JUST WIDE! Ivanovic pulls the ball back to the top of the D, where Costa takes a touch before looking to pick out the bottom corner with an effort on goal. He drags his attempt well wide of the target, though. Still, the Blues are playing some good, free-flowing football at the moment.
6' Chelsea have already settled into possession and are looking to pen Stoke back inside their own half. Costa does well to control a long throw from Azpilicueta and keep his side on it.
4' That is certainly not the sort of start that Hughes would have wanted from his side. They're already behind to the league leaders, and Chelsea do not often let their leads slip.

2' null John Terry GOOOOOOAAAL! The resultant corner is put into the centre of the box and Terry gets away from Cameron to nod in the game's opening goal! Chelsea take an early lead.
2' Matic releases Hazard down the left wing and the Belgian cuts inside onto his right foot. He rides a couple of challenges but space for a shot doesn't open up, so he slides a pass across the box for Ivanovic, who sees his strike deflected out for a corner.
1' We are underway at the Britannia Stadium!
The teams are out on the pitch, so kick off will be upon us shortly.
Chelsea have lost just one of their last 19 matches in the Premier League, but that came away at Newcastle United a little over a fortnight ago. Coupling that with Stoke's recent 3-2 home victory over Arsenal, Hughes will be harbouring hopes that side can pull off another impressive result this evening.
Stoke have conceded a goal in each of their last 10 Premier League outings; the longest run without a clean sheet in the competition this season. Tonight they come up against the league's joint-highest scoring team, so they will need to be at their best if they are to end that streak. Ryan Shawcross and Muniesa will certainly have their work cut out up against Diego Costa.
Chelsea bench: Cech, Zouma, Filipe Luis, Ake, Oscar, Schurrle, Drogba.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Courtois; Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Hazard; Costa.
Stoke bench: Butland, Huth, Whelan, Wilson, Adam, Assaidi, Diouf.
Stoke (4-2-3-1): Begovic; Bardsley, Shawcross, Muniesa, Pieters; Cameron, N’Zonzi; Walters, Bojan, Arnautovic; Crouch.
CHELSEA TEAM NEWS: Thibaut Courtois returns after missing the last two matches through injury. Cesar Azpilicueta is also back in the side, meaning Filipe Luis drops to the bench, a fate shared by compatriot Oscar who is replaced by Cesc Fabregas. Didier Drogba and Kurt Zouma both shake of knocks in order to feature on the bench.
STOKE TEAM NEWS: There is a boost for Mark Hughes as Bojan Krkic, who was discovered his best form of the season in recent weeks, has been passed fit to play. Marc Muniesa returns from injury to replace Marc Wilson in defence and Marko Arnautovic is chosen ahead of Mame Biram Diouf.
The Blues have kept a clean sheet in six of their last seven meetings with Stoke in all competitions, but fell to a 3-2 defeat here on their last visit. They need a win to restore their three-point advantage at the top of the table, while a victory for the Potters would send them into the top half of the table at Liverpool's expense. We are set for a very interesting encounter this evening.
Hello and welcome to tonight's LIVE commentary on the Premier League meeting between Stoke City and Chelsea. Jose Mourinho's men were beaten 3-2 at the Britannia stadium last season, and they may be even more keen for revenge this evening after seeing Manchester City join them at the top of the table on Saturday. My name is Tom Webber, and I will be your guide for all the action.
