Rahman's late challenge caught Fahad's trailing leg, and the defender got himself in the book too.
Ismail threaded a through pass to Aziz but the latter's shot was blocked by Baihakki and deflected into Izwan's arm.
However Shahril's cross was too heavy, and it went over the box.

Qasim Said is injured and being stretched off, in comes Ismail to replace the scorer.
Shahril's tenacity saw him managed to make a curling cross into the box, but it was headed away by Suhali.
And Qiu Li comes off for the prodigal Adam Swandi!
Fahad nearly scored a magical goal as he ran 40 yards from the halfway mark towards goal but his cross-shot was wide.
Qiu Li looking tired, as he grabbed his side and hobbled around, perhaps time for a sub as we approach the 60th minute mark.
And Izwan was called into action and forced to save Qasim Said's shot at the near post.
10 minutes into the second half but the Omanis seem more likely to score.
He then passes to Qasim Said, but the midfielder first touch was poor, and the ball trickles away from him.
Al-Farsi nearly turned provider as he runs onto a though ball, and drew all the defenders to him.
And the second half begins!

Qiu Li gets booked after tracking back and took his man out off the ball even though his back line had it well covered. Not having a good game for him.

What a blow to the Lions! Just before the half ended they were cruelly dealt a second blow.

Al-Farsi scored from 20 yards out with a low shot after he was afforded lots of space from at the edge of the box.

But the left-back is back on his feet after receiving treatment.
Now Hafiz is on the ground, after a seemingly innocent jump to block a cross.
Play is stopped as Hariss put in a late challenge and fouled Qasim Said, resulting in the forward laying down in pain

Oman very nearly gets a dangerous chance, when Qasim broke past the offside trap again, but this time Izwan came out quickly to grab the ball.
Singapore clears the corner though.
However, the shot hits the wall, and ultimately leads to a corner for Oman.
Oman earns a free kick five yards from the box this time.
Not too far away from the top left corner of goal! Qiu Li's free kick was curling inches away from goal.
One of the best chance to equalise so far, and Qiu Li seems to be the one to take it.
Singapore wins a free kick on the edge of the box, after Shahril was fouled.
But Hariss showed quick awareness and was on hand to win the ball back.
Oman on the counter after Qiu Li lost the ball.
But unfortunately no one was there to meet the cross and Suhail heads it out of the box.

A long pass through to Shahril was over hit, and instead Rashidi gratefully collected the ball.
Singapore stringing many passes together now.
Shahril Ishak won a throw in off Mukhaini and tried to take a quick free throw, but the defender pushed it out of the attacker's hand, forcing the referee to show him a card for the needless act.

The stadium has gone dead quiet, can the Lions overcome this deficit?

A lapse in concentration saw Qasim Said sprint past the back line and the midfielder calmly slotted it past Izwan. 1-0 to Oman!
Oman still lurking around the Singapore half though.
But Izwan came out to punch the ball away.
First corner of the game to Oman
First shot on target by Oman from range, but it was straight at Izwan and the keeper calmly collects the ball.
Nice challenge by Isa Halim, and the Lions get the ball back in the middle of the park!
However, Safuwan put in a strong block to knock the ball out of play and snuff out any danger.
Oman on the attack down the right flank now.
The Lions are starting to see more of the ball so far now.
Singapore players are getting into tackles early on, and disrupting Oman's tempo at the moment. However, the Oman side still seems more ease with the ball than the Lions.
Singapore first chance of chance attack, with Qiu Li crossing to the far post, but Rashidi came out quick to catch the ball.
This will be a stern test for Stange's side as it's the German's first competitive game in charge, it will be interesting to see how the Lions play against their more illustrious opponents.
The teams are lining up while the national anthems of the respective countries are being played! Come on you Lions!
The teams are making their way out now. The turnout tonight doesn't look too good with only about a third of the stadium looking filled. But the players will be up for their best of course
