The Singapore side has lost four out of their last five games and will hope to do better against the Crocs, who beat them earlier this year
The defeat mathematically ended their chances of retaining the Malaysia Super League title and with four games left to go, they are four points off sixth spot - currently occupied by their next opponents, Sarawak FA.
It will be the penultimate home game for the LionsXII this season, where they have so far won four and lost three of the nine played. Fandi Ahmad will also hope for his side to get back to winning ways, having seen them lose four of their last five, with the sole win coming at Jalan Besar two games back against ATM FA.
Hafiz Sujad and Khairul Nizam will continue to be unavailable, with stalwart Safuwan Baharudin a major doubt as well. Midfielder Firdaus Kasman is suspended, which might see Fandi give Isa Halim a run-out after the latter's faster-than-expected recovery from surgery. The LionsXII coach will also hope to have top scorer Khairul Amri back to add bite upfront.
The Crocs are not in much better form themselves, though they did end a three-game losing streak with victory over T-Team FC in their last match. Muamer Salibasic has been in good scoring form of late, while wingers Suppiah Chanturu and Ryan Griffiths, with six and three goals respectively, are threats from the flanks. The LionsXII will also have to keep a leash on Joseph Kalang Tie and Junior Eldstal, both capable of running the midfield.
The newly-promoted side have done relatively well this season overall under Robert Alberts and managed to beat the LionsXII 3-1 in their previous encounter back in March, so they should fancy their chances of getting a result on Saturday night.
