Was very good in commanding his box and dealt with the crosses India delivered in the box competently. Was let off by the referee's whistle when he spilled the ball to Jeje Lalpekhlua in the second half.
Was at times caught out with balls behind him. Did not offer great support to the attack either, but was okay defensively.
Akram Abdul Ghanee
Only had one striker to deal with, and held his own against Robin Singh. At times Arata and Jewel Raja did find space behind him
Was competent in his defending, though not always able to get the better of Robin Singh, while Jeje and Arata caused trouble, when they drifted in.
Not really a great performance by the striker. Was average and generally did not give the Indians too much to think about
Tried to gain the edge in the midfield battle against Mehtab and Lenny. Was a formidable physical presence, but was not able to dictate play like he did in the semi-final.
The brightest spark in Maldives' attack apart from Ashfaq. He tried his luck on a couple of occasions and was creative in his passing
Was neat in possession and linked up well with Ali Ashfaq. On occasions was too focused on finding his captain, when other, better options were available
Was well marked by the Indian defense and found chances hard to come by. Almost won a penalty in the second half but perhaps his slightly exaggerated fall made the referee wave play-on. Was good on the ball, but not his best performance.
Was maybe a bit lucky to get away with the penalty appeal from Ali Ashfaq, which could have seen him getting sent off. Was not to be blamed though, as Nirmal sold him short with the pass back. Fumbled a few balls, but dealt with everything else comfortably.
Slotted in at left-back and showed his class and experience from the off. Saved India at the end with a crucial tackle on Ashfaq, which showed his positional sense and ability to rise to the occasion.
His criminally poor back pass almost got Subrata into big danger. Otherwise, the right-back gave a decent account of himself, within his capabilities.
Has done well during this tournament, and yet again stuck to his task of nullifying Ashfaq. Got back to put in the crucial tackle on a couple of occasions and read the game well.
Was having a very good game in the centre of defense, apart from one moment where he switched off and almost allowed an opponent in. Got the vital winner to cap off a fine evening
Started well, linking up with the wingers to good affect. Was economical in possession but maybe slowed down in the second half.
Picked up a card early on, meaning he had to temper his all-action game a little bit. Still was always at the right place to break up play, and even had a couple of shots himself.
A much improved performance from the central midfielder, as he got stuck in and didn't allow the opposition to dominate. Also found the wingers with a couple of fantastic over-the-top passes.
Another member of a very industrious midfield. Showed good work-rate and also went down the wing to provide some good service in the box. Pace was an added weapon to India's attacks
Yet again on the wing, Jeje fought hard to retain possession when he had it, and was part of some decent link-up play in the first half. Hit the side-netting in the second half, while another effort was chalked off for a perceived foul on the goalkeeper,
Was replacing Sunil Chhetri in the line-up, and gave his all for the team. Ran hard and tried holding up play. Had a couple of good chances as well, which he perhaps could have done better with. Satisfactory overall
