Did well in goal, pulling off several good saves. Well on his way to making that No. 1 jersey his own
Stepped up to the plate with seamless overlapping runs and scored a well deserved goal reminiscent of Brazillian legend Cafu
M. Aidil Zafuan
A tidy display by the centreback. He led the defence well.
M. Mohd Azmi
Defended well but was not helpful in the attack
Outshone his more experienced partner with first class blocks. A rock at the back
W. Wan Noor
A livewire down the flanks and combined well with Mahali. Had an assist to his name, super display by the nippy winger
The unsung hero of the team. Performed water carrier duties well but picked up an injury in the process.
Changed flanks with Wan Zack and took his goal well. Solid display.
Did not show much of his creativity but led the midfield well
Did nothing much to higlight on but supported Safee well
Tried his best to score but was continually let down by his finishing. Worked tirelessly as usual.
Played well throughout the match; was not to blame for the two goals.
Played well as a right back, and was able to shut down the movement of Malaysia players in his sector.
Was slow to mark the Malaysian players as they came up the side and his errors led to both goals by the hosts.
Replaced Wijiastanto in this match and was good enough to cover Safee Sali.
Didn't show much creativity, but provided plenty of help to the defense.
Was an effective bridge between the back and front lines. But a lapse in temper earned him a yellow card.
Though he played somewhat out of position as a central defender, Raphael still looked good. His cooperation with Facchrudin also went well.
His penetration on the left side was very good throughout the first half. But he lost concentration in the second half and was replaced by Cusell after earning a caution.
As in the previous two games, played well on the right side. Samsul Arif did a poor job of receiving his crosses. Replaced in the 38th minute.
Played motivated, and managed to steal the ball several times in the first half. Even though he frequently broke through the Malaysian defense nobody was able to send him through balls.
Was repeatedly frustrated by Malaysia's defense. Despite attempting three bicycle kicks, none hit the net.
Showed another good performance. Was able to outwit the Malaysian defenders but didn't spend enough time up front.
Balanced the Indonesian game when he came on but failed to make any outstanding contribution.
J. van Beukering
Didn't impress when he replaced Samsul as he couldn't shake the Malaysian defenders.
