Despite creating numerous opportunities, Felda FC were unable to make a breakthrough, and were denied by the woodwork on several occasions.
It was an upbeat start to the first half with PKNS goalkeeper Razi Effendi forced to make a smart save to deny Ahmad Fakri Shaarani.
The visitors responded soon and worked Mohd Hamsani Ahmad on two occasions in the following minutes. In the first he smartly saved Rudie Ramli's shot from inside the box and then saved Yong Kuong Yong's close-range shot shortly after.
PKNS responded near the half hour mark and gave Hamsani a major scare, as he latched onto a through pass, but his curling effort was well wide despite only the keeper to beat.
Felda United will certainly have cursed their luck after coming out strongly in the second half, only to find the woodwork on several occasions. In the 68th minute, Fakri Shaarani's half volley was well executed but the ball smashed into the upright.
Mohd Irfan Abdul Ghani was then dismissed in the 70th minute, as he received a second yellow card for a mistimed tackle on Khairul Akhyar.
PKNS brought in Mohd Azrif Nasrulhaq Baharudin for the misfiring Mohammad Khairul Akhyar Husain to bolster their attack and the change immediately made an impact. Nasrulhaq was put through on goal but his effort was parried away by the impressive Hamsani.
Rudie Ramli went close to scoring in the 78th minute when he latched on to a through ball and beat his marker but his shot from a very tight angle was well saved by Hamsani.
The draw leaves Felda United with lots of catching up to do as they are now left with just 8 points from 9 games.
