Had precious little to do for the second game running, but again looked solid when he was called upon. Dealt well with balls into the box.
Not called upon too often in defence but did what he had to do fairly well. Almost found the net as he got in at the back post from a free kick.
Won his fair share of tackles and stepped out of defence to play some nice forward passes. Booking was only blotch on copybook.
From the first minute was threat going forward as Bjarnason allowed him to run free. Sealed his side's passage to the World Cup with superb first-time finish.
Set-piece delivery was again excellent but failed to control the game as he had done in the first leg. An excellent foil for Modric.
Had a quiet first half but came to life in early stages of second period as a mazy run set up Srna's strike. Almost added a goal himself after another run through the heart of the Iceland defence.
Like Srna he looked to bomb on from left-back on as many occasions as possible. Final ball was sometimes lacking.
After a disappointing opening he grew into the match and by the close looked to be something back to his best. Substituted late on.
A much quieter performance from the winger as he was given little room to manoeuvre. Claimed an assist after clever flick set up Mandzukic.
Despite an early booking he put himself about and made sure the home side defended from the front. Almost got himself on scoresheet with flying overhead kick that crashed against the crossbar.
After missing an early header he showed a killer instinct to react at the far post and put the hosts ahead. Evening soon turned sour, though, as he was sent off for raising his studs in a late challenge.
Was again the last line of defence for his side as he made numerous excellent saves. Could have done better with second goal despite Srna's effort swerving in the air.
Showed that he could be a decent outlet going forward but wasn't used often enough. Struggled at times to deal with Olic and Pranjic.
Failed to go with Mandzukic at the back post for the opener, though him being dragged inside for Srna's strike was far from his error. Better going forward.
A contrasting performance from his superb showing in Reykjavik as he struggled to contain the home forwards. Statuesque at times when the hosts came forward.
Made numerous clearances in the first half as Croatia sent plenty of balls into the box. Wasn't at fault for either goal.
Looked to find space in the midfield but was quickly crowded out. Tried his luck with some shots from range but was just off target.
Looked fairly dangerous when he got on the ball but lack of possession for the visitors meant he couldn't have the impact Lagerback would have wanted.
Struggled to pass to his team-mates or give them any forward thrust from the centre of midfield. Eventually substituted in the second period.
Again failed to get into the match and somehow saw out the 90 minutes. Failure to track back was part of reason Srna had so much space for second goal.
Did his best to try and work the home defenders but lack of service inhibited him. Faded out of the match as time wore on.
A highly disappointing display as he lost the ball on almost every occasion he found himself in possession and got in the way of team-mates when the ball was around the area. Eventually substituted.
