Thank you for tuning into Goal.com's LIVE coverage of Ivory Coast's 3-0 Africa Cup of Nations victory over Tunisia, I've been Simon Harrison and I'll see you again next time!
Ivory Coast are almost in the next stage of the tournament, and will go through if they avoid defeat in their next group game, however Tunisia now face a gruelling struggle to win the next qualifying place.
Although the scoreline flatters Les Elephants, I don't think they'll mind too much! Tunisia struggled to create any chances, apart from the final 20 minutes, but Ivory Coast used their greater technical ability to convert some great goals.
That's it! The game finishes Ivory Coast 3-0 Tunisia, with goals from Gervinho, Yaya Toure and substitute Ya Konan getting on the scoresheet!
90' + 3'
Two more quickfire chances for Tunisia, but it's too little, too late! Trabelsi won't be happy!
90' + 2'
Oooh! Almost a consolation goal for Tunisia! Barry makes a meal of collecting a header, and almost allows the ball to bounce behind the goalline! That would have been a fair result really, Ivory Coast are flattered by this scoreline!
GoalDidier Ya Konan
GOAL! Ya Konan the substitute passes the ball home, after great work down the left from Gervinho! That can't be caught now, that's game over!
Didier Ya Konan
GOALLLL! Great finish from Yaya Toure! The huge midfielder picks his spot and nestles the ball in the far corner - Ben Chrifia didn't have a chance of saving that! Surely Ivory Coast have secured the three points now!
There could well be a bit of stoppage time in this game, it's been stop-start in the last ten minutes due to various cynical fouls and players needing treatment.
Oooooh! That was the chance for Tunisia! Khelifa is fortunately found in the Ivory Coast box, in plenty of space, but fires his effort straight at Barry! Surely they won't have a better opportunity?
Msakni appears to be rolling around in agony, after a strong challenge from Eboue. That was a nasty one too! He'll be okay to continue, but I can understand why he was slapping the ground in pain, he was caught with Toure's studs!
Gradel immediately has an effort at goal from range, but Ben Chrifia is happy to watch it glide wide.
Msakni has the opportunity to play a great ball, but fails to pick out the killer pass. Gradel replaces Kalou, and rightly so, the Lille winger has been very inconsistent!
Eboue has gone down and is receiving treatment, after going down under a heavy challenge. I think he'll be okay, he's leaving the pitch on foot rather than on a stretcher.
This game could go either way at this point, but Ivory Coast don't look likely to grab a second, and Tunisia don't look like they're going to equalise!
It's Sol Bamba's turn to pull off some good last-ditch defending, intercepting a shot in a dangerous area. Tunisia get a corner from it, but Ivory Coast manage to head the ball clear.
Yellow CardCheikh Tiote
Msakni nutmegs Tiote brilliantly, and is taken down by the tenacious midfielder as a result - and the Newcastle man receives his customary yellow card.
Oooh! Almost another golden chance on goal. Gervinho is denied from getting his shot off at goal by some fantastic last ditch defending from Tunisia!
Ivory Coast really need to try and find a second goal here! Darragi, who has been good since coming on, tests Barry from range. They could end up regretting not grabbing a second goal!
It's a like-for-like switch, as Traore is replaced by the talismanic Didier Drogba.
Romaric slides Traore through on goal, with an intricate pass, and the Anzhi man muscles his marker off the ball with ease. Ben Chrifia however, has other ideas, and is quick off his line to deny him!
Khelifa sees a long range effort blocked, which diverts the ball over the bar for a corner. Yet again, nothing comes to fruition from it. Ivory Coast launch a counter attack, but a misplaced pass means that their passage of play grinds to a halt. Scrappy game at the moment.
Barry clears the ball from the edge of his penalty area, and almost sets up Traore at the other end! Both keepers have certainly been alert to any impending danger. The Ivorian keeper then collects a cross under great pressure. Not been a bad performance from him, by all accounts.
Ivory Coast are happy to sit back in shape and absorb any Tunisian pressure, before launching counter attacks in great numbers.
Tunisia haven't been dominated as they were in the first half, but the tempo of this game has definitely fizzled out. Gervinho and Kalou are certainly causing all kinds of problems, despite their inconsistent finishing touch and final ball.
Gervinho wastes a Ivory Coast counter attack, after failing to beat his man. His side win a corner, but it could have been more than that, as they had really pushed some men forward.
Yellow CardSalomon Kalou
The linesman has his flag up yet again! Kalou sees an effort cancelled out for offside, as Gervinho looked to be slightly offside before squaring the ball to his teammate to finish!
Msakni has just had an effort on goal which I think he'd rather forget! After receiving a deep cross, the left midfielder attempts a left foot volley, but sees the ball go backwards rather than towards goal!
Lacina Traore powers through the Tunisia defence, slipping a dangerous pass to Kalou, but the linesman raises his flag. That looked a tight decision and Gervinho seems to disagree!
Quiet start to the second half, aside from Khelifa's chance, as neither team have managed to have any meaningful spells of possession. There's definitely a more assured method to Ivory Coast's passing however, Tunisia look a little clueless when they're on the ball.
Darragi's first involvement is a lovely intricate run, which results in Khelifa being put through on goal. The forward stabs it wide of the target however, that was a poor effort!
Abdennour receives his final warning from the referee, after using a high foot to challenge for the ball against Yaya Toure. That could prove costly later in the match!
Fakhereedine Ben Youssef
And we're off again! Tunisia throw on Darragi at the break, the player who changed the game against Algeria. Looks like they're prepared to go for it!
So far, I'd say that Ivory Coast look to be the only winners of this match! Tunisia have created absolutely nothing and I would wager that they'll be getting an earful in the dressing room at the break! They certainly need to up their game to even get a point out of this game.
The half time whistle goes, and Ivory Coast look to be very good value for their 1-0 lead! Gervinho grabbed the goal, but Kalou could have added several more, and Les Elephants will hope that his wastefulness won't cost them any points at the final whistle!
Last chance of the half for Tunisia comes to nothing, they've given the ball away in midfield far too often. Ivory Coast have kept their shape well, but Tunisia need to improve. Eboue races forward and blazes a strike over the bar.. that could be the last attempt of the half for either side.
Oooh! Yaya Toure comes flying in at the back post, in an attempt to turn home a Traore cross, but fails to meet the ball! That was almost 2-0! Moments later, Yaya wants a penalty, after a Tunisia defender looks to handle in the box!
Traore has been the stand out performer for Ivory Coast so far. Drogba and Bony might struggle to get in the team if he carries on like this! Great hold up play, he's really been a reliable outlet so far!
Kalou races through on goal yet again, but leaves the ball behind him! That sums up his first half performance, great chances but no cutting edge!
I can't quite stress how toothless Tunisia have been so far. It looks as though they need Ivory Coast to make a mistake for them to get a good, genuine chance on goal.
Ivory Coast are pressing well, it's difficult for Tunisia to really find any gaps in the wall of orange, and Ben Youssef is looking extremely isolated - especially against Bamba.
Tunisia waste both corner opportunities, despite reasonable deliveries. This Ivory Coast side are pretty good in the air though, it must be said.
Tiote is forced into defensive duties, putting the ball behind for a corner, after intercepting a Tunisian cross which was destined to find Ben Youssef.
Abdennour felt the effects of that challenge, and is receiving treatment. Tunisia have got back into this game slightly in the last five minutes, Trabelsi will be hoping that his side can grab a goal before half time, to make for an interesting second half.
Great challenge from Abdennour prevents Yaya Toure from getting a strike away at goal, after good work from Traore - who by all accounts is being used as a target man.
Yellow CardSol Bamba
Romaric is penalised for a seemingly great challenge, and is rightfully frustrated. There didn't seem to be anything wrong with that. Bamba then picks up a yellow card for clipping the heels of his marker.
Ben Youssef is almost found with an ambitious centre from Ifa, but the ball just evades his teammate. It was a good idea, Bamba was struggling to recover.
Chemmam bombs forward for Tunisia, but Barry is again quick off his line to rob the ball off his feet. Can't fault either keeper for their readiness to get hold of the ball!
Kalou fails to find the final ball yet again, threading a pass through the heart of the Tunisia defence, but it fails to find an orange shirt. He's been lively so far when in possession, but he's lacking that cutting edge.
Barry is similarly quick of his line to deny Ben Youssef, after Tunisia mount their first meaningful attack of the last ten minutes. I still can't see past Ivory Coast for the win, judging from the opening stages.
Ooh! Another chance! Kalou jinks inside from the right, leaving Chemmam on the floor, Ben Chrifia isn't troubled by the eventual effort. The Tunisia keeper is also quick off his line moments later, to smother the ball from Traore's feet.
The goal was a long time coming, this could be a long afternoon for Tunisia. Barry is yet to be troubled by the Tunisian attack, and they're actually struggling to get out of their own half.
GOAL! GERVINHO! He sprints away to his adoring fans! That goal was definitely coming.. The Arsenal winger managed to exchange a classy one-two with Traore before placing the ball in the far corner!
Chance! Gervinho finds Kalou yet again but he blasts an effort from 8 yards narrowly over the bar! Ben Chrifia was a spectator there, that strike was travelling at some speed!
Ivory Coast look very keen to use the long ball. Kalou almost managed to get on the end of another long pass. Tunisia seem to be susceptible to the pace of Les Elephants!
Ivory Coast have had all of the chances so far. They also managed to get the game's first corner, as they press and settle in this game.
Chance for Kalou again! Great play from Ivory Coast finds the Lille player at the back post, but he can't find the net from a tight angle!
Oooh! Kalou almost grabs the lead for the Ivory Coast! He's found by a lofted pass from Romaric, and rises highest, but nods the ball just wide of the post!
Traore is penalised for clipping the heels of Abdennour, as the gangly striker attempts to hassle the Tunisian defenders at every given opportunity. Both teams are definitely struggling for ideas at the moment.
Zokora is yet to really be tested in the Ivory Coast back four, but his lack of regular experience in the position could be something for Tunisia to exploit.
A chance to deliver a cross is wasted by Tunisia, and Ivory Coast break. The ball is played across the Tunisian penalty spot, as Gervinho looked to find Kalou, but his pass avoided the Lille winger. Poor from Gervinho!
Ivory Coast again look to use the pace of Traore with a long ball over the top, but Ben Chrifia is alive to the danger and races out quickly to collect it. The Anzhi striker looks to be a threat, it must be said!
Lacina Traore is found with a lofted ball, after good initial control, he scrappily finds Romaric. The midfielder gets the first shot of the match away, but it didn't really test Ben Chrifia.
Morocco break quickly, but their offensive attempts are halted by Ivory Coast at the expense of an advanced throw in. Tunisia waste the opportunity however, by firing a cross out for a goal kick.
Kalou cuts in from the right, distributing it wide to Gervinho, who manages to lose the ball carelessly. The Arsenal man bagged a goal in his country's first match, but seems to always struggle to perform consistently.
Scrappy opening stages, as both sides struggle to really get any meaningful possession. Zokora is playing at centre-back for the Ivory Coast.
And we're underway!
After performing well against Algeria, Tunisia's Darragi might feel aggrieved to not start in this game - but Sami Trabelsi could just be looking for consistency from his side who kept a clean sheet in their opening game.
The teams have taken to the field, but in a very empty stadium! Nothing like the atmosphere at the games of the hosts Bafana Bafana! Drogba is the noticeable change for the Ivory Coast, after a disappointing performance, and its up to Lacina Traore to fill his boots and find his first goal of the tournament!
Tunisia starting line-up: Ben Chrifia; Chemmam, Abdennour, Boussadi, Ifa; Mouelhi, Traoui, Hammami, Msakni; Khelifa, Ben Youssef.
Ivory Coast starting line-up: Barry; Eboue, Bamba, Romaric, Tiene; Kalou, Zokora, Yaya Toure, Tiote, Gervinho; Traore.
