  • And that's full time!!! Dortmund get the three points, and a new club record, but they made themselves sweat for it. Some sloppy passing and poor finishing made the hosts sweat on the result, but they open up an eight-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga, pending Bayern Munich's result. Great result for them, in the end. Bad day at the office from Bremen, though.
  • 90' + 3'
Bremen pump the ball forward in an attempt to get a late equaliser, but Hummels laps it up. Easy clearance for the hosts' back line.
  • 90' + 1'
And there's going to be three minutes of added time. Should Dortmund avoid conceding two goals, they will set a new club record for an unbeaten Bundesliga record.
  • 90'
    SubstitutionJakub Blaszczykowski Patrick Owomoyela
  • 89'
    Yellow Card Clemens Fritz
  • 89'
And Dortmund make their final change, with the tireless Kuba making way for Owomoyela, who'll get a couple of minutes against his old club.
  • 88'
Dortmund seem happy to hold what they have, and are passing it around casually in the centre of the park.
  • 86'
Dortmund combine well with Kagawa, Lewandowski and Perisic, but once again the final ball lets them down. They really could have been rampant here, if they showcased a little more finesse.
  • 84'
Bender, who cam on as a substitute, is subject to a heavy challenge, but he eventually gets to his feet.
  • 81'
Kagawa is scythed down on the edge of the box, and Dortmund have a free kick in a threatening position. Subotic and Kuba over-elaborate their strategy for the kick, and it eventually goes straight into the wall.
  • 78'
For all of the dangers that having a one-goal lead poses, I can't see Bremen grabbing an equaliser here. They really have been limp up front, and Weidenfeller has had next to nothing to do.
  • 76'
    SubstitutionTom Trybull Felix Kroos
  • 75'
Some slick play and quick feet finds Piszczek in space on the right, but the Dortmund full back is soon picked up by Schmitz. Great defending, but another example of wasteful play from the hosts.
  • 74'
    SubstitutionKevin Großkreutz Ivan Perisic
  • 74'
    SubstitutionIlkay Gündogan Sven Bender
  • 73'
And Weidenfeller is called into a rare bit of action, claiming the loose ball after a free kick is sent into the Dortmund box.
  • 71'
And Subotic fouls in his eagerness to get to the corner.
  • 71'
WHAT A SAVE!!!!! Gundogan forces a great save with a low drive from distance, but as Kuba looked to tap home the rebound, Schmitz gets ahead of him to put it out for a corner.
  • 69'
More pressure from the hosts. Kagawa finds Piszczek on the right-hand side of midfield, but his cross is headed away. Dortmund need to be a little more incisive...
  • 67'
The resulting corner finds its way to Gundogan on the edge of the box. The Germany man decides to shoot, but it's easily blocked. Poor effort, really.
  • 66'
JUST WIDE!!!! Piszczek, who has been brilliant all day, strides forward from defence, cuts inside and unleashes a left-footed shot which goes narrowly wide.
  • 63'
    SubstitutionFlorian Hartherz Lukas Schmitz
Another change from Bremen. Hartherz, who has been suffering with flu this week, has been replaced by Schmitz, who is met with boos from the home crowd due to his Schalke connections.
  • 61'
    Yellow Card Francois Affolter
Affolter picks up for a booking for a clumsy tackle on Grosskreutz as the Dortmund man looked to break.
  • 59'
Fritz, who has moved back to right-back since the substitution, shows his defensive capabilities, dispossessing Schmelzer when the Germany left back went down the right.
  • 57'
SO CLOSE AGAIN!!! After another messy challenge from Ignjovski, Dortmund find Lewandowski from a free kick, but his header goes narrowly wide. Will these missed chances come back to bite Jurgen Klopp's side?
  • 56'
    SubstitutionSebastian Prödl Niclas Füllkrug
More bad news for Bremen. Prodl has pulled up with an injury, and has been replaced by Fullkrug.
  • 55'
WHAT A MISS!!! Piszczek plays a great ball in towards Lewandowski at the far post. The Pole nods it into Kagawa's path, who somehow manages to put the ball wide, despite a near-open goal.
  • 53'
Dortmund have a free kick in a threatening area as Sokratis hauls down Lewandowski, but the delivery is poor and the ball drifts out for a goal kick.
  • 50'
Agonising moment for Dortmund. Piszczek gets across to block a cross out for a corner. Good defending, but the ball could have gone anywhere, in truth.
  • 47'
Stange incident here. Kuba elects to play the corner short before striking it goal-wards. Mielitz gets across and claws the ball off the line. An attacker puts the ball into the empty net, but the referee has pulled it back for offside against Kuba.
  • 46'
SO CLOSE!!!! Kuba plays a brilliant ball to Shinji Kagawa, who takes a touch before striking it goal-wards. The ball takes a touch off Prodl and drifts past the post for a corner.
  • 46'
And we're off. Bremen get the game back underway!
  • 45' + 1'
Piszczek clears the corner, and the referee blows for half time. Great first half from Dortmund, but they should be more than a goal up at this stage... Stay tuned for the second half!
  • 45'
One late chance for Bremen to get an equaliser before half-time. Ekici sends in the free-kick, but Subotic puts his body on the line and concedes the corner.
  • 43'
A long pass up from the back is sent towards Kuba, but he's caught offside. Dortmund should really have this game put to bed by now - they've had the chances.
  • 40'
Mielitz is forced to dart off his line to prevent Kuba from latching on to a neat through ball.
  • 38'
Piszczek plays a ranging ball towards Kagawa, who finds himself closed down by Sokratis as he looked to turn in the box. Great defending from the Greek again.
  • 37'
Another shot from Bremen, but Fritz' scuffed effort drifts wide of the target. The Bremen skipper should have passed to Rosenberg, perhaps.
  • 34'
OFF THE BAR AGAIN!!! Dortmund will be wondering how it's not 2-0. Kehl makes a late run into the box to head Schmelzer's cross past Mielitz, but it crashes off the underside of the bar. The home fans appeal that it's gone over the line, but the referee ignores their protestations, rightly, it seems.
  • 32'
    Yellow Card Aleksandar Ignjovski
And the second booking follows soon after. Ignjovski loses possession to Lewandowski, then scythes the Pole down.
  • 29'
    Yellow Card Lukasz Piszczek
And we have the first yellow card of the game. Bremen look to break through Ekici, who is stopped in his tracks by a cynical tackle from Piszcek.
  • 29'
A lovely ball finds Schmelzer who elects to pass rather than shoot, but can't find one of the melee in the box.
  • 28'
It seems like it's only a matter of time before the second goal finally arrives. A probing ball finds Kuba, who wins a corner.
  • 26'
SO CLOSE AGAIN! Dortmund are really pushing for a second goal now. Kuba darts in from the right and feeds his compatriot Lewandowski, who blasts an effort over via a deflection from Prodl. Dortmund fail to threaten with the corner, though.
  • 24'
OFF THE POST!!! Kagawa comes close to the second, showing some quick feet and sending in a low, powerful effort which looks destined for the net, only to bounce off the post! Mielitz got the faintest of touches there.
  • 21'
Werder Bremen finally register a shot, through Mehmet Ekici, who lines up an effort from 25 yards, which Weidenfeller does well to beat away. Decent effort from the young Turk.
  • 20'
Dortmund feel they should have a penalty. Affolter slips, allowing Schmelzer to get down the left and cross towards Lewandowski, who is tugged, but the referee ignores his pleas for a spot kick.
  • 19'
Great play from Hummels, who intercepts a Bremen clearance and attempts to feed Grosskreutz, only for Sokratis to get across and cut the ball out.
  • 17'
So, a thoroughly dominant start from the hosts, who seem to be playing with confidence, and have taken an early lead through Shinji Kagawa, who marks his birthday with the goal. Great stuff so far!
  • 15'
And Gundogan follows suit, shooting from distance, but forcing an easy save from Mielitz.
  • 14'
Robert Lewandowski goes for goal, but his shot is straight at Mielitz.
  • 13'
Schmelzer goes on a long run from the back into Bremen territory, by Friz gets across to challenge the Germany man.
  • 12'
SO CLOSE TO A SECOND!! Kuba goes on a lovely run inside from the right, evading challenges, before letting fly, only to see his shot take a deflection and drift wide.
  • 8'
    Assist Ilkay Gündogan
  • 8'
    Goal Shinji Kagawa
GOAL!!! Dortmund's pressure pays off. A high ball into the box goes straight onto Gundogan's boot. Rather than going for goal himself, the Germany midfielder plays it square to Kagawa, who scores with the simplest of headers. Great start!
  • 7'
Lapse of concentration at the back from Weidenfeller and Hummels, who gives away a needless corner, which the Dortmund 'keeper confidently claims!
  • 6'
Another attempted through ball towards Lewandowski, but it's brilliantly cut out by Sokratis.
  • 5'
The hosts go on the attack, with Hummels looking to play a through-ball towards Grosskreutz. It's cut out, and when a yellow shirt seizes upon the loose ball, he's soon closed down.
  • 4'
Dortmund have enjoyed nigh on 100 per cent of possession so far. Nice, assured start from the hosts.
  • 2'
And Dortmund win a corner. Piszczek, Kuba and Kagawa combine down the right to win the kick, but the referee blows up for an infringement as the ball came in. Bremen free-kick.
  • 1'
And we're off! Dortmund get the game underway, and immediate attack down the right and win two early throw-ins.
  • We're just seconds away from kick-off here. Stay tuned for all the action!
