After a break of 11 days, a refreshed LionsXII side will travel to Petaling Jaya to take on Felda United on the back of a morale-boosting 2-2 draw against star-studded Johor Darul Takzim last Tuesday.

The Singapore side were missing a few regulars in that game but they displayed grit and determination to come away with a share of the spoils, and head coach V. Sundramoorthy will be looking for more of the same here.

The LionsXII have a chance to go top of the table with a victory as they are only a point behind ATM FA and Selangor FA but with a game in hand.

Sundram went for a surprisingly attacking approach against Johor, a change from his usual tactics to play more cautiously in away Malaysian Super League fixtures, and the former Singapore striker might opt for a similar mindset here to secure three points.

Felda United will be missing foreign striker Mohammed Ghaddar for the game as the Lebanese international was sent off in their previous league outing, a goalless home draw against Johor.

With Ghaddar out of coach K. Devan's plans, the Settlers will have to rely on former Malaysia international Shahrizal Saad and Rudie Ramli to penetrate the visitors' disciplined backline, while more firepower is available in the form of 26-year old Razali Umar Kandasamy if required.

However, the second-bottom side have found goals hard to come by, with only four strikes in eight games and look likely to sit back and frustrate the LionsXII.

The early 4.45p.m kick-off might be to Felda's advantage though, as visiting teams have found it difficult to play under such sweltering heat.
