  Found Shechter with a cross in the first half but the striker could not beat Steele with his header. His role changed slightly when Routledge was brought off. A solid performance.

  Might have done better with a Ben Davies cross in the first half, which eventually deflected off Dyer and into Steele's grasp. Replaced shortly after the interval by Moore.

  A second half introduction in place of Routledge. Immediately changed the game and might have had a penalty after being brought down by Hines. Made all the difference, causing Middlesbrough plenty of problems.

  Only act of a quiet opening 30 minutes was to kick the ball into touch, but did eventually have to gather a deflected Shechter header before the break. Made a vital fingertip save to deny De Guzman from a free kick. Could do nothing about the Hines own goal.

  Blasted an effort well wide after the break, when it might have been easier to play in Ledesma. Dealt well with the twin threat of Davies and Routledge for most of the game, though let the full-back in on a couple of occasions.

  A very impressive display from the 24-year-old, who harried Michu, Shechter and Routledge in the first half, but was unfortunate to head into his own net and decide the match in Swansea's favour after what appeared to be a game-saving tackle on Ki.
