Rarely given much to think about by Braga and could to little for their goal.
A great job defending on the left flank, with the only blot on his performance a spell of fatigue late on that allowed Alan and Ze Luis past him.
Came alive in the second-half, and but for the brilliance of Beto, could have scored. Tested the Braga keeper with intent three times, but each time was thwarted, with two of his efforts going on to hit the post.
A generally consistent display, as he was never really beaten at the back, and did what was required of him with little fuss.
Held firm in defence and generally marked Eder well. Forced deeper and deeper as the game went on, but coped solidly enough.
Strong defensively as he made sure that barely anything was able to get past him on his side. Stopped a goalbound header from a corner, and was a threat whren going forward.
As his side saw less and less of the ball, his role became more and more important. A series of timely challenges and all around superb defensive work in front of the back four helped his team to preserve their advantage.
A deadly performance that any attacking player would be proud of. All three of his goals - clinical finishes from inside the box - were taken superbly. The timing of his runs from deep positions was also impeccable. Excellent display.
Disciplined in the middle of the park during the first-half, but guilty of giving away possession a couple of times in the second period.
Assisted Pedro's opener with a touch of the highest quality, before setting the second in motion with a fine pass over the top.
Had Pedro not been on fire in front of goal then Sogou would have found himself taking top billing from this fixture. Simply terrorised the Braga defence on the flanks with his pace and ability to get to the byeline.
Could not do much for any of Pedro's goals, and came up with three stops to prevent Camora from adding another.
Suffered from a few lapses in concentration in the first-half, but seemed to grow in stature when defensive partner Douglao left the field. Still a daunting task for him to hold together a patched up defence.
Quite an awful game for the big centre-back, who was found wanting for two of Cluj's goals before shooting his team in the foot with a needless red card for striking Camora in the face.
A bit hit or miss at the back, as he struggled to contain the runs of Pinto and Sougou. Needed the help of his team-mates on several occasions.
Difficult to pick up when attacking just in front of the defence, and set more than a few attacks in motion with his passing. Teed up Alan for Braga's first-half goal, and was a threat with his deliveries from set-pieces as well.
Some sloppy passing in the middle of the park offered Cluj a few chances to bomb forward on the break. Should have kept his concentration a lot better than he did.
Substituted just before Cluj's third after giving his team absolutely nothing. Suspicions that he may not have been fully fit.
Had a few bright moments when he managed to link play effectively between attack and defence, but after his team were reduced to 10 men he had to work twice as hard to try and make a difference.
Rather uninspired on the flanks as he failed to really get going in the match. His team could have done with a lot more penetration.
Briefly brought Braga back into the game with a fine finish, but the skipper could not inspire his team to much more as he struggled to get on the ball.
Worked hard up front, and was an active, if not always decisive presence in attack. Forced himself into a number of good positions, but his shooting was off the mark. Eventually succumbed to an injury picked up in the first-half as he limped off for Ze Luis early in the second period.
