Really unconvincing from the Arsenal keeper. Almost got caught out by Sturridge from a simple backpass and failed to grab a Gerrard corner from which Agger almost scored. Great save late on to deny Suarez though.
An early slip proved costly as Suarez scored and he found the Uruguayan a tough opponent in inspired mood.
Awful defending for the opening goal, allowing Liverpool far too much time and space. Lucky to escape conceding a second after passing the ball straight to Henderson midway through the first half and was then turned easily by the Liverpool man for the second.
Really ought to have cleared Johnson's cross in the build-up to Suarez's opener, but failed spectacularly, getting himself in a complete mess.
Was doing a decent job until injury forced him off on 36 minutes.
The heart of this team. Drove Arsenal forward after the break, at every opportunity and set up Giroud with a pinpoint free kick to drag his side back into a game that was starting to look lost.
Henderson gave him little time and space and like Santos he could do nothing to prevent the Liverpool man adding a second.
Booked for a foul on Suarez on another frustrating evening for the Spain international, best typified by a late chance on the break which he fired across goal and wide of Reina's far post.
A threat all night long for Arsenal down the left. Went close a couple of times and set up Giroud perfectly for the winner late on but the Frenchman fluffed it.
Involved in all of Arsenal's best chances. Grabbed the Gunners a lifeline with a strong header from a Wilshere free kick before setting up Walcott for Arsenal's equaliser. Booked for diving late on before missing a great chance to win it but was a real handful.
Was a threat throughout and perhaps ought to have equalised straight after Suarez's opener but could not beat Reina. Did grab an equaliser through with a fizzing strike from a tight angle and went close again moments after with a great effort.
Replaced the injured Gibbs in the first half. Was outmuscled by Henderson for Arsenal's second but Liverpool perhaps failed to test him as much as they might have liked.
Two good saves from Walcott in the first half but could only stand and stare as first Giroud and then Walcott brought Arsenal back level.
Played his part in the opening goal but could do little against Walcott in the second half as Arsenal piled on the pressure.
Unlucky not to score after his header from Gerrard's corner was hacked off the line by Podolski. Allowed Giroud to drift away and head home.
A rare start for the veteran but a very strong display. Denied a strong Santos surge and showed great bravery with a double block from a Podolski free kick and follow up.
Podolski had a lively evening down the Arsenal left but Wisdom coped well in a mature performance from the youngster.
Pressed high and to good effect. Won so many tackles and made a great block midway through the first half to deny Arsenal an equaliser.
Showed quick thinking and a neat pass to set up Suarez for the opener. Wasted a couple of promising breaks with poor passes but made up for it by showed great strength and desire to go past Mertesacker and hold off Santos for the second goal.
Wasted a great break with an awful cross on 19 minutes. Offered very little after the break in an attacking sense.
Not quite at his best. Leapt into a couple of challenges very early allowing Walcott and Wilshere to skip past easily.
Played out on the left and was really in the mood. Snapped up the early chance and set up Sturridge beautifully on 10 minutes with a glorious pass. Also showed great discipline to help out his defence to good effect and could have won it with a late shot which forced Szczesny into a good stop.
Handed a central role but was wasteful, having chances to score but failing to even find the target. Drifted completely out of the game in the second half and it was little surprised to see him replaced.
Came on with 20 minutes to go to add some steel as Arsenal threatened to overwhelm Liverpool
