Tampines Rovers edged out Balestier Khalsa 3-1 at Clementi Stadium to go joint top of the S.League to capitalise on league leaders Brunei DPMM's 2-1 defeat at home to SAF FC. Tampines sealed their win in style thanks to a double from Sead Hadzibulic sandwiching Jamil Ali's strike. Balestier meanwhile had earlier replied to Hadzibulic's opener with an equaliser from Ruhaizad Ismail. The defeat places Balestier five points off the top of the table in fifth place.
