Visiting side Warriors FC were thrashed 5-0 by a rampant Kitchee SC at the Mongkok Stadium in their final Group E match for the 2013 AFC Cup, as they bowed out with a whimper.

The home side cruised to victory in a game which was inconsequential as Kitchee had already qualified for the next round, while the Warriors were already out of the running for progression.

Despite this, Kitchee took the game to the visitors threatened from early on.

The Hong Kong side deservedly grabbed the lead in the 18th minute, courtesy of a Jordi Tarres penalty, which was coolly dispatched by the Spaniard.

Despite some chances, the teams proceeded into the break with the scoreline remaining at 1-0.

However, fans at the Mong Kok Stadium were soon treated to a goal-feast in the second-half as the 'Hong Kong Barca' began their onslaught on the hapless Warriors.

Tarres first doubled the home side's lead in the 53rd minute, before Cheng Siu Wei then scored 10 minutes later. The former then completed his hat-trick two minutes before time, but not before Tsang Kam To got on the scoresheet as well.

Kitchee qualified in second place behind group leaders Semen Padang and will face Kelantan FA in the next round, while defeat condemned the Warriors to the bottom of the group.
