A player during his tertiary years, Khalis represented his school in national tournament as a goalkeeper. Khalis has also turned out for grassroots and constituency teams and was previously a Project Manager with a local football academy. Khalis is a firm believer of Arsene Wenger's football philosophy and has been supporting the club a year after his interest in local football blossomed.

Currently majoring in Life Sciences at the National University of Singapore, he started to take a keener interest in local football again about a year ago. A Home United fan, his dream is to cover Singapore's progress at a future World Cup.
