Following Kedah's 1-1 draw against Perak in their Super League match on Wednesday, the Red Eagles boss Tan Cheng Hoe admitted that the soggy Perak Stadium pitch affected his gameplans.

The heavy rain that fell in Ipoh throughout the day turned the pitch soggy, which meant Kedah could not play their usual short pass game.

"The pitch was too muddy, so it made things hard for us to play short passes.

"In any cases I am happy we came away with a point here," he said in a post-match interview with the match broadcaster.

The scorer of Kedah's equaliser; Baddrol Bakhtiar meanwhile was already focusing his attention on their next match; their first leg FA Cup semi-final encounter against Terengganu, when interviewed.

"Terengganu are consistent this season, so we will pay extra attention to the match as we want to be in the final," revealed the Malaysia international.

In the match between Perak and Kedah, Hafiz Kamal opened the scoring at the hour mark, but just 10 minutes later Baddrol rescued a point for the visitors through a remarkable freekick from 30 meters out.
