OFFICIAL: Amoory misses AFC Champions League clash with Al Hilal

Despite initially announcing that he is ready, Zoran Mamic doesn’t call Amoory up to the squad

The Croatian manager of Al Ain, Zoran Mamic, announced his squad that will go to Saudi Arabia to face Al Hilal in the AFC Champions League this Tuesday.

Omar Abdulrahman “Amoory” was not called up to the squad as he is unready for the match, according to Mamic. The 20 player-squad did, however, include the recently excellent loanee Hussein El Shahat.

The match will be played at the Prince Faisal bin Fahad Stadium on Tuesday, at 20:25 Saudi Arabia time, in the first round of the AFC Champions League Group Stage.

It is worth noting that Al Ain and Al Hilal are in the group of death, with Al Rayyan and Esteghlal completing the group.
