We will show zeal against Kano Pillars, vows Remo Stars' Osho

Remo Stars coach Fatai Osho says his side will show seriousness and zeal in their quest to secure a good result against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium.

Following a 1-1 home draw with 3SC, the Shagamu based side looks destined for an instant relegation from the Nigerian apex division having gone six games without a win.

But the gaffer insists they still have a point to prove in their remaining eight games beginning against Ibrahim Musa's men on Sunday despite their forgettable debut top-flight campaign.

"We still need to prove that we are far better than the position we found ourselves," Osho told media.

"It's just unfortunate that we are fighting relegation with the level of football we play. Football has not been fair to Remo Stars this season."

"The boys will go to Kano with seriousness and play with the zeal to get something there because we still need to prove to the world that we play wonderful football.''

On young talents' inclusion, the former Kogi United coach said he hopes to give the opportunity to the youngsters to gain exposure and develop their game.

"It is good for the young boys, for the team and also the country at large. Chisom has played for NPFL U17 All stars and has also played for the country at the U17 level, so I feel it's important they play more games to keep excelling.

"It is also a way of motivating and exposing them to football at the high level, they have been performing so well at our training sessions and I feel they should have a feel of the professional league now," he concluded.
