Ramadan Sobhi to stay beyond January at Huddersfield Town

Nader Shawky, the agent of Ramadan Sohi has confirmed that the midfielder will not leave Huddersfield Town during the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old completed a £5.7 million move to the Kirklees Stadium outfit in the summer after spending two years with Stoke City but suffered a knee injury two months after his arrival in his debut game against Manchester City.

The youngster made a return to the side in their 3-0 loss to Watford but has failed to secure sufficient playing time since the setback and was left on the bench for the entire duration of their 1-0 win over Fulham on Monday.

Notwithstanding, his representative has insisted that the former Al Ahly player will continue with the Terriers till the end of the season.

“Ramadan will continue playing for Huddersfield till the end of the season and there are no plans for him to leave in January,” Shawky told Sada El Balad TV per KingFut.

Huddersfield have moved off the bottom of the Premier League table to the 18th spot after their victory over Fulham.

They will aim to build on the form when they clash with West Ham United on Saturday while Sohi will be hoping to get more playing time under his belt in the tie.
