Shocking stat shows Chelsea loss to Man Utd was their worst display in a decade

Antonio Conte saw his side produce their worst display in front of goal for 10 years in the defeat to Jose Mourinho's team on Sunday

Chelsea failed to produce a shot on target in a Premier League match for the first time in a decade in Sunday's 2-0 away defeat to Manchester United.

Title race is ON! Chelsea risk Premier League collapse

The Blues went down to a meek loss at Old Trafford that blew the title race wide open, with closest rivals Tottenham remaining four points behind with six matches to play.

Antonio Conte's men did not hit the target once in the match, as none of their five attempts tested United goalkeeper David de Gea during a miserable day at the office.

The last time Chelsea failed to hit the target in a league game was September 2007, when Avram Grant was at the helm for a 2-0 loss to – you guessed it – Manchester United.

Furthermore, it is also Chelsea’s first defeat in nine Premier League games against United, having won and drawn four, last losing to them in October 2012.

Meanwhile, Mourinho's side's unbeaten run in the league now stands at 22 matches, in which they have won 12 and drawn - the longest within a single season by a team since United's 24-game streak in 2010-11.
