Ighalo scores 11th league goal as Changchun Yatai draw Yanbian Funde

Odion Ighalo scored his 11th goal in the Chinese Super League this season as Changchun Yatai held Yanbian Funde to a 1-1 draw.

The 28-year-old forward netted his ninth goal in eight league games with a late minute equalizer as Yatai avoided defeat in the Development Area Stadium.

After a goalless first half, Gambia’s Bubacarr Trawally broke the deadlock and put Yanbian Funde ahead in the 54th minute.

Four minutes to the end of the game, Ighalo was on the receiving end of Tan Long’s assist to put the Chen Jingang’s leveled as they continue their push to the top half of the league.

Changchun Yatai are placed 10th in the Chinese topflight league and will welcome Tianjin Quanjian to the Development Area Stadium for their next league encounter on August 20.
